A Waltham, Mass. man is facing 9 felony charges after being involved in a fatal golf cart accident on September 9, 2009.  According to prosecutors, Andrew Morrissey was drunk when he drove his golf cart into a minvan on an Albany highway.

The cart driven by Morrissey had 3 passengers; Robin Clohecy, Jared Frontiero and an 11 year old boy.  Clohecy was killed in the accident.  Frontiero suffered a fractured hip and the boy sustained various injuries.

Morrissey had a blood alcohol level of 0.16 at the time of the accident, and there was speculation that he had been using marijuana earlier that day.  He is being charged with manslaughter, negligent homicide and aggravated drunk driving along with several other serious charges.  An arraignment hearing is scheduled for April 21.
