The WPIX Newsroom reported yesterday that two construction workers died after falling five stories down an elevator shaft inside a building in New York City’s Upper West Side.

Details are not yet available but one thing is known. These men died too soon and left behind families that loved them. Construction jobs can be very dangerous and accidents do happen. While families mourn their loss, it may seem callous to think of money but mortgages have to be paid and children have to be fed and clothed. There are funeral costs to consider.
